well, yesterday, as I recall, I heard 20+ cussings but don't recall hearing a single
"I love you"

nor did I hear/read any prayers except what I read here at Passions

however, I did see someone floss

I'm sorta surprised by that, but prayer is a private thing for many people, so I guess it's not so farfetched.

this report really does seem bogus. i hear a lotta cursing, and little prayer everyday. t.v., school, radio, work, etc...

ha. i NEVER see or hear ANY prayer except at home or church...

Sometimes prayers are said with a person's eyes. Look carefully the next time you're standing in line to check out at the grocery store. There are prayers being said every minute of every day...some people just don't know how to put them into words.

One can see the effect of wind, but very rarely can actually see wind. So it is with prayer. Most is going to be completely internal or at most mouthed, but rarely given audible voice. Just because one cannot hear it doesn't mean that it doesn't occur.

Well, most people will still SAY a curse word before they will a prayer as cursing is more socially acceptable than prayer it seems. we'll remove prayer and religion completely, but won't spare our children's minds the profanity on t.v.
