Each day my husband reads a Seymour Tabin
poem to me. We then sit and talk about what
he wrote. It brings us together because not
only are his poems thought provoking, but the replies show us how other poets think.
Can anyone tell me where he is, and if he is alright.

Concerned for one of the "Greats".

Sy is taking a little break...but I know this will brighten his day and will pass it along. Yes...he is one of the "greats" ...
we are so lucky to have him...and learn so much from his wise words.
Thank you for letting him know hes missed.

I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.

Thanks for letting us know JM.

I haven't had a chance to reply to many posts over the last while, but I do still come in to read daily ... and most of my mornings always start with a smile from our sweet Sy.

Sending a {{{hug}}} your way Sy, for all the delightful morning reads I've woken to. You are dearly appreciated.

Thank you, for replying. Please tell him I hope he returns soon. Morning coffee is just not the same without his wonderful
poems.

You know ... this seems like a wonderful opportunity seeing you opened this thread,  to tell Sy just how much he does mean to me too.  Although I don't leave a comment on every one of his poems I do read every single one.  I look forward to whatever lesson he is sending each day, and sit and ponder its meaning over my morning tea or coffee too.  Many of Sy's poems have actually made me see things a different way and I must say in a more forgiving light on many an occasion.

Isn't it funny how important some people are to us in our lives, and we often don't even think to tell them?  Well inot2B, thank you for reminding to say,

Seymour Tabin - We Sure Do Love You!
