A bizarre thing to post here, i know, but i have a jesus christ superstar performance in two days time, and have woken up this morning with a constricted throat (a signthat i'm a bout to launch in full blown cold) and runny nose. heeeeeeeelp.

Sorry to hear about your cold, just drink lots and lots of water, take extra doses of vitamine c, also take some rest. Avoid too much talking.

adding to the above, in addition take Echinacea (vitamin shoppe)& Evening Primrose Oil Cold Pres (1300MG) plus a good losenger.
Put a gob of vicks on your chest, cover with a towel, secure with a safty pin and sleep. You'll be surprised at the improvement. With lotsa Water and "C" you'll flush it out quicker and feel better sooner. Good luck

Whiskey (brandy) honey and lemon warmed to taste just a little whiskey old remedy used it before knocked it right out....for me anyway

I agree with greeneyes, , but called it a hot todie,,,, and i used to drink it as hot has i could stand it..... then put on some sweats, rap up in a comforter, and when you awake, you will feel like you just got dunked, but should feel better......
