Total Eclipse Of The Moon Tonight

Tonight is going to be a total eclipse of the moon. To those that have cameras that will catch it, this is going to be something if the sky is clear, and is definitely worth seeing. Here is one link about it, but I am sure there are others as well. Scroll down a bit to see the slide show, to give you an idea of what you will be seeing.

I saw it, and it was gorgeous! I worked from 3-9 today, and about 10 minutes after 7 a customer came in and was talking about it. Being obsessed with things in the sky, I closed my register for a minute (there weren't any customers in my lane anyway) and went outside to see it. It was so pretty! You could see where the moon was, but it was all dark except for a sliver of white toward the lower right. This was almost a 100% eclipse. Very cool.

I'm glad he came in and told us about it, because I wouldn't have been able to see it otherwise. How often does this happen?
