Now I need a book about English poetry,I want to know English poem's way or mean and the differ between Chinese poem and English poem .So that I can translate my poems into English. THANKS. |

Curious if you're writing in free verse or Chinese formal verse? I was under the, probably mistaken, impression that most poetry in China today was free verse. If so, I anybody's guess is probably as good as yours. FYI, In formal Chinese poetry, you have to match the tones and the syllables. And you thought iambic pentameter was tough! If you ever get a chance to hear this stuff live, go for it, it's great! |
