what about me? (chuckling).... I don't watch it...used to..and I used to think it was better than what new episodes I have seen... but now I just think I lost interest in the characters over time. |

the old ones were a lot better. Now they are getting a little forced.but good things usually don't last very long. It's a pity too. Never be normal! |

all things change..and sometimes the changes detract from the originality of the piece. you may begin to get too used to the signature reactions of characters and find that they seem stuck in one dimension..and while funny for a while...we usually need more than one dimension to keep us interested over a period of time... a shame? perhaps.... but then again perhaps just a blessing ...cause we always can expect the reruns to be syndicated and ten years from now probably laugh again at what once was funny to us... |

I refuse to let them end the series until they hook up Joey and Phoebe though. I mean...they hooked up Ross and Rachel. They hooked up Chandler and Monica. Would it be so hard to hook up Joey and Phoebe? They had a perfect chance to after the episode where Joey had a date with Ursela, but she stood him up. Remember, Phoebe showed up in her place, and they kissed? It would have been a perfect start. *coughs* Erm..yeah....I watch Friends. Or rather..used to. Pop in every once in while to watch it now. -Adam |

I do watch it when I can...but as of right now, my favorite show is Trading Spaces. I am absolutely addicted to it. (I've got a thing for transformations. smile) |

I used to like Friends when it had some good jokes in it... now it's getting too antic for my tastes. It kind of plays on how much the audience loves the characters now, and that's when a show starts to become less interesting and more redundant. Friends has been this way for about four years now, if I remember right. |

Well, I still love friends... my friends think I'm like Monica . . . . . . . Maybe the fat Monica Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.--Jesus Christ |

Show? I can't afford the theatre. I'm only in productions. I don't get to watch. Seriously, though, I don't watch TV. Kielo I know only one thing, and that thing is that I know nothing. |

I prefer the absurdity of Seinfeld reruns. (was I REALLY the only one to understand /jen/'s Happy Festivus????) *sigh* |

Friends is too perky for me, and not funny any more... I used to like The Drew Carey when it was on, it was more realistic, biting humour. Scrubs is good though. Thank god for the repeats of Monthy Python. watched from the wings as the scenes were replayed we saw ourselves now as we never have seen" ian curtis |

the winners in the comedy category are: - 'will and grace'. - 'just shoot me'. most likely the two best 'sitcoms' on television. but my favourite show is 'the sopranos', by far. /jen/ 'i don't care if it hurts, i want to have control. i want a perfect body, i want a perfect soul.' [radiohead] |

never determine your professional future based on some trendy reality tv show. /jen/ 'i don't care if it hurts, i want to have control. i want a perfect body, i want a perfect soul.' [radiohead] |

now, now, now... i never said that you were basing your future aspirations on some cheesy 'hip' decorating show, i simply said it's not a good idea to do so. when i was in elementary school i wanted to be an architect. now i've finally decided on a completely different career path. you still have another six years or so before you really do have to choose. you'll change your mind several times before then. and you think friends is redundant? i thought you loved that show. /jen/ 'Christianity is the complete negation of common sense and sound reason.' -- Mikhail Bakunin [This message has been edited by quietlydying (01-12-2003 11:46 PM).] |

Friends is awesome. I hardly watch any television at all but I "TiVo" friends everyday. (and then delete them if it is one that I already have ) Psalms 20:7 "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." |
