Remembering You The thought of you has been Implanted in my head It feels like old-times Despite the dangers I know will impend A long time has passed I now have a new lover and friend But we ended without conclusion And silently I am falling again I hear you ask of me often So I know you don't forget. I hear you think of me still As you lay your new lover Down on your bed. I know that I hurt you In my crime of spite But I realized this long ago And I will pay for the rest of my life I am trapped in a dangerous whirlwind Yes, I am still thinking of you. But it helps me to know You still love me, too. |

it could be just because i'm really inexperienced as a poetry critic, but i didn't really find anything wrong with this. i mean, you talk about regret here, and you expressed it the way you see it. it's not exactly the best poem i have ever seen, but it is not bad at all, so. thumbs up in your direction and smiles. =). - River Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |
