It's been so long since I've
Seen the streets of love.
In the summertime, pink and
Yellow flowers would clutter
The street. Then the next day's
Rain would wash them away
Into the gutter. It would wash
Love away.

It's been so long since I've
Seen the flowers bloom. Some
Say that you have to search
For love. I've been searching. I've
Looked around every last corner.
When are you supposed to
Find it?

It's been so long since I've
Been back to where love was
Washed away. Pink and yellow
Flowers still clutter the street,
And the next day's rain washes
Them away. Washes love
Away.
