Daring faceless child
In a crowd of power hungry names

Pushing steadily
Streams of people move about
Following the jungle maze.

Strong-willed and urgent
They look at her only in passing
Not knowing that underneath
Her will could destroy them all

Caught in their own circle
Trapped in life’s cycle
They trudge to their death
Holding red covered green slips
Of entry into the realm of posterity.

Buying their way into hearts
Paving a path through the bodies of
Tiny children who didn’t ask to be conceived
And elderly mothers forgotten by
Their ungrateful blessings

The young one is standing still
Warm sun radiates
Glowing on the crowd around her
Who caught in the rays
Are trapped
Unable to move past
Stopped for a moment in their heedless rush

Shaking their head
Their glazed-over eyes cleared for a moment
They can see the sun
They notice what road they’re on

No one knows the name
The child of anti-fame

The power of the quiet ones
Behind the scenes the strong ones work
Beyond the gaze
Of those unwilling to yield

Not understanding they scamper past
Ducking, Running
To avoid the ones whose hearts impel them.

Your pretty deep here, getting into the heavy stuff that poets like.  It's getting there in many ways, keep it up.
