The Cardiac Kid A man of pale complexion approaches veiled in black; the cardiac kid makes his way north he isn't worth the dirt he walks on yet his heart beats. No power drives his heart to be he is driven to lose to make his victories amazing; he pulls the wool over her eyes and drags her in alluring her with a scandalous touch undressing her mind with his. A touch is not enough: the necklace cuts her throat and down she goes, tripping through ecstasy into something dormant: into some hidden primal other sense. Innocence fades as erotomania sets in and for a glorious instant, the world is true: the rubbish is absorbed into the wool over her eyes and with that the disguise is compromised; she fades, falls back as her life turns to black. There can be no more turning away. Hours later the sun dawns on the city lust has vanished into the cold stone. "Jack the Ripper Strikes Again" read the headline of the London Times. |
