So seldom are still statues kissed For lips dislike skin cold as steel Though many are where patience' fist Has petrifed man whom would feel! Again life, love and morning shine And turn to might with passions spine To break that mould with his own flesh And start a brave new love afresh, Blessed forth with motion growing bold mid soul as bright as day is gold. Thus could one kiss truly create, What seems but stone, may truly wait. [This message has been edited by Essorant (12-03-2002 02:52 AM).] |
