I started it late one morning, haven't finished it yet but would like to know how it is so far.

What was I to do?

Life as I knew it was completely through.

My eyes filled with tears, my heart with sorrow.

I was in such despair, I had gave up all hopes for a tomorrow.

You see, I was a lost soul

With not one dream, aspiration, or goal

I was flying in the sky

My feet were on the ground, yet life was steady passing me by

No one understood me

They felt my mind was void & empty

But that wasn’t right.

Because if they had searched hard enough then they would’ve seen a light.

Hi illumihnated truth,

I'm quoting you here IT:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You see, I was a lost soul
With not one dream, aspiration, or goal"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To show you that this is how to write poetry....

Here, you tell me who you are, then describe to me what that means.

You tell me who you are, then describe to me what that means.”

"You see, I was a lost soul
With not one dream, aspiration, or goal"

Turtle, the poet told you who he are :  “I” “ The first person singular “ was a lost soul.

Turtle, the poet told you what that means : He’s in the dumps, “ With not one dream,

aspiration, or goal "

Some of the poets come here for help, not to be confused .

Turtle, you are welcome. I don’t know what happen , but IT got it coming and going.

We are kind of like part of that four man work gang back in the REAL depression:

~~One a coming, one a going , one a resting, and one a hoeing ~~

Btw, you may be eating  way too many eggs .
