The Rich Wage War

How would it feel
to ask and plead,
and beg and bow,
at the feet of the men,
who took from you
your child, your pride,
your life, and your smile?

Would it feel ok?
Would it feel alright?
You were given hope
and then led astray.
Your parents dead,
and for God they say.
A being so great
that he's conquered hate.

Feeling no shame
for the lives he's taken,
sends them to heaven,
even deaths forsaken.

Why believe their lies?
Why believe their tales?

Those cunning fools,
they tell us to,
die to live,
but we die for death.
No purpose on this planet
but to take this breath.
knowing that we can
but believing that we can't,
push them away,
yet we listen to their chant:

God is your father,
God is your mother,
God is your sister,
and God is your brother,
So hold a cross in one hand,
and a gun in the other,
kill till u crack,
and never look back.
