her positronic fingers ripple the electrons of my flesh torturing me with Shakti to the point of symmetry breaking arcing my spine, her quantum serpent penetrates my atomic core in that flash reactive instant the vortex of annihilation coils gravity compels our bodies in unison as we’re both infinitely aware the grand unification of love requires a super-collider and sometimes there is no fusion only bubbles popping on the end of a theoretical string but tonight, if only for this one atom smashing time we’re swirling in the plasma of Shiva’s galactic arms swallowing chunks of Prana with inky red boudreaux |

Beautiful poem. Love is expressed in such a grand, a cosmological view. A very warm welcome to this wonderful site PIPtalk and you may join us in other forums to talk about other things too. Tomtoo I may make more comment later. |

Well, RCat, you saw my thoughts about free verse that doesn't make a lot of sense to me and leaves me shaking my head. I am very pleased to say that this is not one. This is the type of free verse that gives free verse a good name. You have taken a central theme and created on heck of a love poem out of it with all descriptions and references remaining true to that theme. I will confess that I had to look up Shakti and Shiva but your poem made me want to, not to understand the poem but to further that understanding. Welcome to the site |

this is a nice poetry as already been said. i personally appreciate the blend of myth and your own words those have a undertone of slight satire. |

Thank you all very much for reading and being so kind. This piece was inspired (at least in part) by the incredible work of Fritjof Capra (The Tao of Physics). The book essentially is a “fusion” of particle physics and Eastern Philosophy. If this piece has in some way captured a micro-glimpse of the grand cosmic irony then I’m 100% satisfied. Thanks again. |
