Its ok to laugh Mona Lisa. We are getting tired of that smile. Get you a new hairdo lady. Cleopatra cruised down the Nile. Is your lover off with another ? You, in love with Whistler’s mother ? Just lose that Florentine smirk. Leonardo has gone back to work. Its time mystery gal to move on; but you stop that crazy wishing. I got a brand new rod and real.. I’m planning on going fishing. I didn’t mean for this poem to be funny, just light . I apologize to Cleo. For not giving her as much respect as I did the mystery gal ; but the poem was not about you Cleo. |

Dear Chops, I love to read your poems. They are funny (can't help) and serious at the same time. "Its ok to laugh Mona Lisa. We are getting tired of that smile. Get you a new hairdo lady. Cleopatra cruised down the Nile." "We" means everyone, right? "you" means Lisa or a woman to whom the talker was talking "Is your lover off with another ? You, in love with Whistler’s mother ? Just lose that Florentine smirk. Leonardo has gone back to work." Here, the talker then seems that he was talking to a man. who is him? "Its time mystery gal to move on; but you stop that crazy wishing. I got a brand new rod and real.. I’m planning on going fishing." "mystery gal"=Lisa or else "You"=? is Lisa? or the man in you second S? or are you talking about different paintings of LDV? do please tell me. Tomtoo |

Tom, after you know the truth it may not be that funny , but here is the truth Dear Chops, I love to read your poems. They are funny (can't help) and serious at the same time. "Its ok to laugh Mona Lisa. We are getting tired of that smile. Get you a new hairdo lady. Cleopatra cruised down the Nile." "We" means everyone, right? ~~ Right~~ "you" means Lisa or a woman to whom the talker was talking to ~~~Every word in all three stanzas are spoken to Mona Lisa~~~ " Is your lover off with another ? ~~ Do you smile to hide a broken heart ~~ You, in love with Whistler’s mother ?~~ Do you smile to tempt a lover~~ Just lose that Florentine smirk. ~~ There is no evidence that Mona Lisa and Leonardo has gone back to work." Whistler mother were lovers~~ Here, the talker then seems that he was talking to a man. who is him?( No man ) "Its time mystery gal to move on; but you stop that crazy wishing. I got a brand new rod and real.. I’m planning on going fishing." "mystery gal"=Lisa or else "You"=? is Lisa? or the man in you second S? or are you talking about different paintings of LDV? ( NO ) do please tell me http://www.poemhunter.com/song/mona-lisa-3/ |
