An honorable idea for your poem, but not conveyed in the strongest language. The capitalization of each word makes the sound of the poem very stiff. I know there is emotion in this poem, but I cannot hear it because of the structure. Take a look again: God Made Us All Equal Each And Every Person The Same Inside Outside The Same, Just different Skin Types So Why Do People Hate A Repulsion For A Fellow Man The Ignorance People Show Is Intolerable All Just For One Small difference Skin Tone It's monotonous. Word choice comes off as somewhere in between cliche and naive. "Ignorance," "Hate," and "Repulsion" are strong words in the dictionary, but in real life, they barely scratch the surface of the bloodshed in people's struggle to be free. |
