Here is one I will mark. Ellipses King and Queen are there... Majesty... fills the air... Never use ellipses in a poem. They are much mischief! |

I agree in the examples you have given. I do think elipses have a valid place in poetry though. I would not say never but only when it is appropriate and certainly sparingly. |

If your poem is abridged, then it is missing something so you may put ellipses to indicate missing content. But otherwise, they are grammatically and poetically incorrect. |

Overkill. I say this because it's something I do a lot... I'll feel so strongly about something that I can't tell when enough is enough. |

Very new and only educated by life not school But if the use of ellipses lets for a greater pause or interlude between sections I think they are great tools poetic lisence??? longte Live It |
