Discarded Fascination There is a bolt laying on my sidewalk medium-heavy duty kinda fellow. Obvious from the grime and rest once perhaps a proud, shiny, new bolt. It lays upon a corner of unused concrete mocking from its piece of sunshine. Accentuated by the shadows of the fence closer and last year's weeds would conceal. It looks as though, once upon a life perhaps one of axles, machinery, perhaps wheels. Maybe a swingset or bicycle long gone might of been from last centuries farm. Oh, the scenarios that tinkle through the might have beans, the what do you thinks. Changing in a flash to would have almost a message in that lonely bolt. As the shadows dance and transform this piece of old, very used steel. In imagination captured; several lifetimes in the end, it remains. . . a simple bolt laying on my sidewalk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` just got this back from an on-line submission, accepted of course...and all i gotta do is order another $50.00 book...humbug Put it on my homepage, and a lady challenged me to "not leave it there"! please see "Discarded, No More"... bleeding...
