Contemplation Sitting on the porch listening as the day's light slowly fades The song of crickets surround me as the evening breeze caresses my face carrying away the last remnants of the day's heat Gazing into the sky as the stars wink on one by one my gaze is captured by the silver moon rising majestically over the horizon Quiet moments alone when my thought turn to she who waits When the evening wind caresses her cheek does she feel my fingertips? When her slender arms wrap warmly around her shoulders does she feel my tender embrace?
