She gazes out her window, sees a vision in the rain. What she sees there is her "hard earned" pain. She worked hard for money, she worked hard for love & all she got was strife, but she's worked so hard all of her life. Sometimes she wonders why she lives for nothing, she is eternaly waiting for SOMETHING. She was born dirt poor, & she's never had more. She tried SO hard to win affection, all she got was the suffering of rejection. Her life had no purport, she wished she'd cut it short, but she never did & she's still alive to cry. And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson |

How sad, I hope her special something comes soon. May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out. Irish proverb. |

I truly hope that the special something that she is looking for comes and fulfills her as soon as it can. Lovely poem. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

mm.. those last three lines twanged some of my heart strings there, swamp.. I like the content of this poem, and the last lines are.. pretty close to home.. Who is the she in the poem? Is it you?? I hope she keeps crying.. 'coz, although it doesn't make anything better.. whether 'she' knows it or not.. 'she' would be missed, if 'she' ever did do anything like that.. everyone would be.. there is always someone to give love... and one day.. 'she' wont have to cry.. *smiles* nice poem.. Lynne |

Thanks for the comments =] No,she's not me.....tell ya the truth i'm not really sure who she is,this poem just kinda came out of nowhere ya know??¿ But i've been thinking about who she is and i think it may be Shannon again. The same girl i wrote the poem by the same name for. This really seems to kind of fit her. Thanks again everybody i appreciate the encouragement. Very sad. I'm glad this isn't you, but hope things brighten soon for Shannon. Sheila ...the earth and myself are of one mind. The measure of the land and the measure of our bodies are the same........... Joseph, Nez Perce Chief |
