Sunshine broke the glass sky,
morning came again
i knew i'd have to cry
For the loss i felt within.
But i remembered the dream i had last night,
the peace it made me feel.
Everything felt right,
everything seemed so real.
If i try hard enough to think that way,
maybe i'll find that dream come true someday.
Even though i don't know when my dream may come true,
I still have hope & a precious thought of you.

Last night it was autumn...the colors in the trees,
the awesome travel of the birds in flight,
the sweet scented coolness of the breeze.
I felt good, I felt right.
The sounds were soft & muffled
The air was a path smooth and long,
Instead of a dust worn road.
The sunshine was warm & playful like a song.
From my shoulders,lifted a load.
Those few simple thoughts I dreamed,
Were so real and kind.
Helped me through my day,it seemed.
In them solace I could find.
They were peaceful and calm,
Light and endless
Like a sweet healing balm.

And there she weaves by night and day,
a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson

Thanks all =] And Lynne,i've been writing poetry since i was a tiny kid on the school bus....but i've been kind of on and off for the past years,this one i did in 97,much has changed since then,and let me tell ya i'm no optismist anymore...LOL...such is life =]
