Daddy,why do you always betray? I hate things you do,i hate things you say. Daddy,i think you must beleive you're God, that's your only fault in an otherwise flawless facade. When i'm with you,you "act" so kind, treat me like the only important thing to you. I'm sorry daddy,i'll NEVER beleive that's true. Because when i leave you start with your wild accusations again, You must see this as some kind of game to win. I know your purpose,i know your mission, it's a hard life for my mother,you're wishin'. If you really loved me you'd see, what you're doing is making it hard for me. I can't love you,so don't expect me to, it's a bad thing to say about my father,but true. well, I can't say anything to make things better, I know.. and, I'm sorry this poem was written, well, sorry it had to be written, but princess is right, a grudge isn't a good thing to have, but perhaps instead, you could pity your father, that he does not understand what he is doing, and behaves in such a manner that others think ill of him.. pity him because he has this fault, but don't hate him... never hate anyone.. no matter what they've done.. "treat others as you would have them treat you.." <-- this is a wise saying.. although, easier said than done.. even if someone does not heed this, does not mean you cannot.. hey, swamp? read my poem, EVER AFTER.. think of it, as though it were written for you, for it is true for you as well.. expressed well... Thank you all for your comments =] It is a very sad situation. My father is incredibly pyschotic,and i'm not just saying that beause i'm a teenager =P I can't love him,but at the same time i can't hate him,i bear him no grudge,and as lynne says,i pity him. He's deffinately pitiful....oh well,got to make the best of a sad situtaion and keep on keepin' on as a son once said =]thanks again swamp And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson |
