I thought I heard you calling,
From the yon side of the hill.
When I arrived on the other side.
There was nothing there but still.

And then I heard your voice again,
Was it back where I'd come from?
You can't hide from me forever.
Are you ready?  Here I come.

No matter where I wander
Over hill or glen or vale;
Your voice will always beckon me
To another unbeaten trail.

I think you'll let me find you
When the birds begin to sing.
When buds and bulbs are bursting,
In those first sweet days of spring.

I love the spiritual inspiration ...He will keep calling till we finally answer too..

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
