Royal Heights Thy corners dank with chill, visibility altered me can't see thy tower from thee muddy hole who put thou here to wallow in mine own pity? Down I sink what 'tis before I, quick sand mixed with mud for a more prolonged agony? Thine self reaching out hand to stillness of air lack of hope, each second another centimeter time lapsed seconds blessed by minutes slipped past reality dove to helpless eternity. Another chance is all I do beg measured time rest assured thine soul will corset thee mind longing for thyself shoveled away diligently whine ye no more for depressed circumstances. Falling deep wearing no armor for thee occasion renders catastrophe in grand number scheme risen with sensitive suspenders I dually respond. Together thyself and I shall focus on fortitude and beyond all measures climb thy royal heights. |

hey, Esmeralda.. I like your poetry.. this one is good.. your use of language is quite impressive.. though, floral words are not always a blessing.. Lynne [This message has been edited by Yu Lan (edited 04-16-2000).] |

Do I sense a smothering of thyself? tinged with woeful defiance. Nice Jon |

Lynne: Thanks for reading, glad you liked it, this is just Esmeralda's style. Denise: Thanks for your kindness. Lizzie: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed. Jon: Thanks for reading, glad you liked it. This was me sinking in my selfishness looking for a way out, just one of those personality traits I dislike but it comes to surface every now and then, so I tried to rid myself of it through poetry. |
