Ode To The Moderators

So many people giving of their time.....

They are found in Passions’ Forums,
Doing their job with such decorum.

In the Corner Pub,
There is Lost Dreamer and Denise,
Replying to any poem with kindness and ease.

In Teen
There’s Alwye....recently Member Emeritus....
What more proof do we need of her service?!?
There’s also Marilyn-caring and kind-
A gentle sweet critique in her you will find!
Not forgettin our own Jer
He could make a wild cat purr!

Of course
There’s Alicat with his well known love of kilts,
The Alley  is where you will find his home built.

In Open we have
Michael, Hoot_owl_rn, Nan and Balladeer...
Their replies to my poems make me smile from ear to ear!

In C.A
You can find jbouder and Brad
But I don’t go in often...that -for me- is quite sad.

In  Spiritual Journeys,
There is Deleeme and Whtdove...
Tending to the poetry there with lots of love.

In Passions in Prose
We can observe Dusk Treader and Christopher...
Along with the delightful stories they look after.

In Adult
I cannot go but know that I would find-
Reading through all poems- PoetdeVine

In the English Workshop
You will catch Christopher and Munda    (not sure of the pronunciation-sorry Munda!)
Just in case your English has gone asunder!

In the Poetry Workshop
We look up to teacher Nan...
Her favorite phrase:"you can do it, yes you can!!"

In Poetry Challenge
There will be found one Isis
Making poetry into a quiz.

In the Teen-Mentor Lounge
Is PdV and poetry-kills...
Watching over this lovely room as it fills.

In Feelings
We know we will see X-Angel...
Every one knows that this person is special!

In spirit and in person everywhere
Can only be PoetdeVine and Ron....
You know these two are what Passions leans upon.

Let’s give all the Moderators a round of applause,
Having them run this place is good for our cause!
What would happen if they abandoned ship?
The smoothness of  Passions would lurch and tip.
Let’s hope they stay with us for ever so long,
Helping us sing the Passions Song.

The day the Passions forums opened, when only Ron and I were bantering about in poetic ditties -  We never imagined that it would grow to the magnitude that it has... It's happened because of each and every one of you, with your wonderful poetry and your support for each other.... I guess it's one of those "Build it and they will come" things, eh??

Thank you all for being here!!..

Thank you so much for writing this wonderful poem in tribute to all of us Moderator's here, I have to agree with Nan though without all the inspired poets posting great poetry there would not be a need for us here, so thanks to each and everyone of you for giving us a reason to get up every morning and delight in what you have written.

Thank you Lizzie! Your poem is so sweet. I think the Moderators reflect Ron's vision for this poetic home and each Moderator is chosen because of the love and dedication they have for 'Passions'.

From personal experience, I can say I was astounded when Ron asked me to be a Moderator! I love Passions and love reading the posts here, but never did I think I should be a Moderator! I consider myself just one of the group to tell you the truth. The reason I am helpful is just because I enjoy helping others...not because of the title under my name. When my time as Moderator is up, I will still be the same.

You all make our 'job' easier! The community of Passions has become just that....everyone helps everyone. We lean on each other and learn from each other.  YOU are all to be commended for that. This is your home, OUR home and every member here has made a difference!

Thank you Lizzie. How sweet of you to write this.   I do agree with all the above. What would we do without all of you. I find it a pleasure, a real delight to read all the poetry here at Passions, not to mention talking to all the wonderfull people here.
Thank you Poets !

Thanks for the replies, all of you!

Have to say, you moderators are just far too modest!

Pepper-thanks for pointing out my little errors and for your sweet compliment

Nan-Wow   You've been here since the beginning of Passions time!?! That's so cool! Thanks for sticking it out with us!

Lost Dreamer-trust you to shrug it all off like its nothing!! Where would our C.P. be without you- and Esmarelda?!?

Sharon- You are a great moderator! What, it surprised you that you were chosen?!? I kinda figured the helpfulness came from the heart as opposed to from the title under your name! How else could you be so patient with me?!?   Thanks for that!

Munda-I hope I didn't slaughter the pronunciation of your name too badly! Thanks for the sweet reply you made.

Whew!! Enough from me!     I just had to have my two cents..or was that $10 worth?!?!!

Thank you so much! I like Sharon was awfully suprised to find he was putting up a Spiritual forum and they thought of me. What an honor that was. That is my forte and I just love it! This place has been nothing but wonderful for me. I'm so glad to see all the others enjoying it too, as it's home to many people. The friendships here are second to none!

All these people, readers, poets, all of them are great people.
Applause goes to Ron for making such a site!
Nothin else out there like Passions!

Whtdove- You definitely deserve the honor!! So glad you accepted it and are still filling your vocation! You are right, the friendships in Passions are second to none. So I second the last three lines of your reply with gusto!!
