Well, here's yet another story from the little purple guy!  A long time ago, and a few thousand miles away When dragons used to show, unlike they do today; Except in places much like this, the Internet and such, When girls were woken by a kiss, things turned to gold by touch, There happened something strange and new, as never seen before-- But this I swear to you is true, this tale that I implore... The scene begins as break of day graces castle's walls A place in which a king does stay, with thrones and banquet halls, A princess sleeping in the sun, resting so and yet A brand new day has just begun, one which she won't forget! Far outside the castle lies someone sleeping too, Still in bed, as no surprise to anyone who knew; Finally, the dragon stirred, got up and brushed his teeth, Showered off with vision blurred, and got a bite to eat, Tidied up his little cave, then went outside and flew Over many a farmer and knave, the landscape in full view. Into the turret's room did the dragon fly Through the window he had to zoom, and only he knew why; But alas, his speed was great, he smashed into the wall, Birds flew 'round in his dazed state, thin air to break his fall. At the sound, the princess woke, and she got quite a scare, Several quite bad words she spoke when she saw the dragon there; Then she calmed down, and went to aid the poor unconscious beast, Shooed the birds with hands she waved, her fear by now had ceased. The princess shook the dragon hard, and he finally came to, The sleepy mood he did discard, with a beauty in his view. Then he did something very strange, that no one would expect-- Something he tried to arrange, with the utmost respect; He asked her something from the heart, and feared it was too late... "Princess Karen," did he start, "would you go out on a date...with me?" __________________________________________________________ Well, I don't think you'd want me to go out on a date with you anytime soon, Faeyrie But I thought that applying a more modern theme to this might be a little...unique...lol  Hope you like it! Aww, thanks so much everyone for your replies...guess I finally broke through the "wall" that was my writer's block! Oh, and BTW those birds were canaries...Hey Faeryie, you're not so bad yourself you know! I may be nice, and I can't say this from experience, but I think you're nicer than I am...lol I'm working on those landings, Jack!
