People say that I am a fool, loving someone who doesn't love back. I know she may never be mine, but who will tell this to my heart. One day she may understand my love, I dream of such a day too. She says we can always be friends, but can we be friends forever. Someday she will be with someone, then I'll just be a fading memory. Maybe I should forget her and move on, why is this little step so painful, so impossible. I still hope against all hope, I will become hers, one day... Jõmes |

It's not a "little" step when one has to walk away from love. Where would we be without hope?? Very good poem. |

James.. I know this feeling well and I hope you find in your heart room to love another.. It's hard letting go, but sometimes it must be done.. MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND Irish Blessing |

You should never give up hope on love but you hould also know when to let go of somebody. You will find the right person some time. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Touching sentiments James. I think love is summened up best by the saying, "If you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it's yours....." ~Jenn~ "Nature's first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaves a flower, but only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, and Eden sank to grief. So dawn goes down today, nothing gold can stay." Robert Frost |

workin on a heartache aye james.. sad poem... but good to let go it seems, to let the both of you find yourselves not sufficated by a love uncertain.. hope your heart mends quickly..love will come again (i realize i'm a little late in my response to this one..maybe things are better by now! ) dg< !signature--> "i speak in written word--my lips, no sound may utter..." dgvarner [This message has been edited by dgvarner (edited 07-19-2000).] |

A woman never forgets the man who truly loved her, if she tries than his memory will haunt her. You have left footprints on her heart, you will never be forgotten... You can never have too much fiction; reality can be such a bore |

Reading this poem of yours makes me feel nostalgic......actually loving someone can be painful......but looking back can be sweet too......coz being able to love.....and having someone to love is a fortunate thing......Thanks for sharing this, I'm really touched *S* love, michelle If there cannot be equal in affection, then let the one with more be me - midnightblues™ |
