Blasphemer __________ Words uttered out of my mouth daily, I find myself always the blasphemer. The words roll off my tongue as easily as water flows down the river. It's a laugh a minute. Each additional word adds to my wounds. Almost as if I can't control it, my tongue takes on a life of its own. I find myself wondering...why are you saying these things? Behind the scenes, I struggle with this imperfection. I struggle for redemption. |

I used to blasphemize alot, while I was at boarding school. I have stopped though, I don't allow myself to anymore. I hope you too mange to get out of that viscious circle. Love and hugs, Lizzie |

A new way to look at a century old problem. Very good work. MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND Irish Blessing |

Although of good heart, a loose tongue can bring us downfall. Enjoyed this poem. ...Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is.... Black Eagle Oglala Sioux holy man |

The tongue does have a way of taking on a life of its own. I think all mankind struggles with this problem. Great poem! Denise |

Mrobi, I sure can relate to this, but once I had children, I used as a rule of thumb, What can't be spoken in front of them would probably be best not spoken at all. I don't always take my own advice but it definately helps put things into perspective. Your poem was a thought provoking work, well done. Dennis :^) |

That's a good rule...what you can't say in front of children, you probably shouldn't say. Thanks everyone for the comments... |
