She was swimming the first time that I saw her
The prettiest little thing you've ever seen.
With long blonde hair way down to her shoulders
And her eyes were of emerald green.
I was thinking as she swam closer
MMMM my oh my what a lovely dish.
Then I noticed as she swam closer
The top half was a girl the bottom fish.
A mermaid is what they usualy call them
They live way down by the sea.
But I never thought that I would find one
In the fishing hole down by the creek.
Well we spent the after noon together
Till the hour had grown quite late.
Whan I returned to her the next morning
She had ate up all my fishing bait.
Whats a man to do,you've got to pick and choose
should I ask her for her hand
should I heat up the frying pan....
and thats my marmaid for me
