My Brother David,
Has always been,
A Good example,
A True friend!

He encourages,
With patient word,
I know my name,
In his prayers are heard.

Though I had been,
So often cruel,
His love held fast,
I was a fool!

I oft' regret,
Each wasted year,
I did not accept,
My brother near.

Now He is close,
My own Twin Brother,
I would never trade,
For any other!

Thank you David
I love you Bro!

Great poem Dennis. You are lucky to have each other.

Dennis,
A wonderful tribute to your brother. My brother is a pain in the ars--sometimes I'd like to strangle him, and I love him a lot. Thanks for reminding me.

Siblings can be wonderfuly close to you.  That's why I feel I'm missing out sometimes, being an only child.  Sounds like you love your brother lots.

This is so sweet and touching, Dennis. I also have regrets for the way I sometimes treated my twin sister. Maybe that extra special closeness of twins can sometimes breed annoyance, especially when young and immature. She is my best friend now. Wonderful poem, Dennis, I'm sure David will love it!

This is a wonderful tribute Dennis. And I can relate. My own brother and I were distant for many years, but have recently grown closer together.

We can't choose our relatives, but we do choose our friends and when they are one and the same,.....well that's the best of both worlds.
So pleased for you both....wonderful poem Dennis.

Being a brother is hard sometimes.  I'm happy  that the two of you have become good friends.  It is a journey that I have been trying to embark on with my own siblings, I don't know if its them or its me who keeps getting in the way.  But I will keep trying.

Dennis~

What a beautifully done heart-warmer.
My relationship with my brother, Tony, is like this.
So honored, so loved.

Thank You Kaile,
for reminding me what a terrific Brother I have.  I think a lot of the nice things he says about me are actually projections of his own wonderful qualities which certainly have become evident here as he shines among the Passions crowd, especially here in the Pub.
He is one fantastic brother- and I say that from the bottom of my heart.  He has been a most excellent blessing in my life, and a do thank God for him!
