"MY PUTER"

Sitting in my 'puter' chair,
With 'nary a worry,nor a care!
My cyber belt safely strapped on;
Away I go! One 'click'! I'm gone!

The world is only a 'click' away
As I select my choices for today
The world is at my fingertips,
As I travel on my cyber trips!

With typos I have surely goofed,
While in a 'chat' I somehow get moofed!
I chat with the ill and the well
Until my brain refuses to gel!

My 'puter' chair screeches to a halt!
Bloodshot eyes,clearly in default.
I shut my 'puter' down,crawl into bed
And dream of my 'puter' and what's ahead!

Sounds like your addicted, join the club. A world of people at our fingertips where even without a voice we can communicate. Great poem, I enjoyed.

Mmmmm, I like this poem. I wish it was all that innocent though. Did you ever read that story in the teen mentor lounge? I read it very recently for the first time and I no longer trust my computer like I used to.
