Courage He faced the deepest dark unknown And walked the footsteps all alone With loved ones there in his surround He spread his courage all around And then with pride upon his face He suffered in a far off place So many days in pain and fear Without his family standing near Still dreaded footsteps now to plod He wakes each day and prays to God And then persues the day with grace And warming smile upon his face And no one knows the weary plight The pain he suffers in the night For still in modesty he lives And silently to others gives He demonsrtates to all around The peace of spirit he has found And courage only found within And that’s why I admire him My husband Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 04-01-2000).] |

This is beautiful Elizabeth! Your husband is indeed an admirable man. And a fortunate one to have such a loving woman to share his life with. I applaud you both! Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night. -Edgar Allen Poe |

Your comments are so very warming. Thank you all so very much for reading and responding. My husband's surgery to remove a lung and enormous tumor will be on May 5th. We are so elated at his progress from the treatments and appreciate so much the support from Passions friends. You are all wonderful Liz |
