A Tear

A tear slips away
Slowly falling, endlessly
In it, my dreams
Fading yet shining
In a moment of glory
Solitary yet unyeilding

Filled by thoughts
Memories & lies
Desperatly clinging
Fearing what's to come
Expecting the worst,
Yet hoping for the best

A tear slipped away
Fell to the end
It held everything
Shimmering, in a dark way
Hiding and revealing every aspect
Showering the world with love.

Alicia welcome to the Pub. This poem is beautifully written. As the Cat said, "how much pain and hope in a single, salty tear"?
