I live through my dark existance only to bask in your beauty your eyes that shine like saphires your smile that brightens even my sad existance I envy the wind that runs through your hair that touches your lips I long to touch you to hold you in my arms but I cannot for your heart belongs to another so, I can only love you from afar your friendship means more to me than anything this world provides but like an angel you touched my heart in a way that I've never felt before cause I've never known what love is until this day I know that we are only friends but my heart wishes it to be more so I will still hope and dream that one day I can feel your lips pressed to mine to hold you in my arms and say, "I love you" To find true love is to know true happiness... to lose true love is to lose everything |

Thank you all for your kind words... actually, the woman who I wrote this for ran across this poem when I posted it on my page. I was really nervous at first, because I didn't know how she'd react. She couldn't believe that someone cared for her like that and would write a poem about her. mm, well written.. So sweet, and loving.. well I'M glad she saw it, even if u are still not sure, because even if she doesn't feel that way about you, you've given yourself every chance.. I enjoyed reading this..Man, I can't believe that guy had the nerve to copy someone elses poetry.. and call it his own.. I'm glad someone caught him out, hope he hasn't done it anywhere else though.. “One word can be magical.
