There she was
right before my eyes
the perfect girl to my supise
I didnt know her
Only just met
but the first hi i will never forget

I didnt know her
she didnt know me
but we would soon know eventually

we started to talk
we started to joke
and i enjoyed it everytime she spoke

more and more
each and every day
we got closer in a special way

i knew where it was goin
so did she
and we soon found out eventually

then one day
that she told me
that she had a serious crush on me

i was shocked
but happy too
it gave me a chance to make her my boo

until one day
she came to me
and confessed that she couldnt be with me

she wasnt single
she had a man
and just like that it shattered my plan

i wanted her bad
but what could i do
she said "you know i cant be with you"

of course i was hurt
of course i was mad
of course my happiness turned to sad

so i was paused
now where do i go
i cant ask her out cuz the awnser is no

so i sit and wish
something goes wrong
even right now as i write this song

even today i wish
the awnser to be yes
cuz right now i dont think i could settle for less

she is the one
i been searchin for
she got it all, i couldnt ask for more

so i sit and wait
for the time to be right
mabye next week, mabye tonight

so as i write
this last line
i just wish one day that she could be mine

Your friend wrote a lovely poem. The same thing always happens to me. All the good one's are taken it seems. Or, Whenever I find someone I really like, and she likes me, she's either too old, too young, or too married. And the one's that are single and just right, could care less about me.

Hey, I got a title... how 'bout, "Get Rid of the Bum and Marry Me." *joking*

Some parts are sad, yeah...but any poem that draws an emotion has to be a good one. Great work, fe!
