A flash of bright red
Cardinals Royal Spring show
wings of God's Promise

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Another lovely piece from you. I haven't seen the flash, yet this year. But I am hoping to, soon.

dancing freely with the stars,
looking down upon streets and cars
from my world ,
a wonderful view.

and now found you!

Paints a lovely picture.  We have no cardinals here in northern Idaho.  I know they are beautiful though.

No cardinals here in PR either, but this was beautiful. Very enjoyable read!

Yeah I like it

Whoa Ellie...you have these Haikus down!     Great job, again!  Thanks for reminding us of the beauty in our surroundings!

Beautiful writing. Two females were at my feeder all winter so I never did see the red flash. The ladies are beautiful too though.

such beauty you weave in just a few words. superior piece.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
