The air is warm, the sky is blue, But I can only think of you. You would so love this wonder day; April sliding into May. You always loved the springtime best. I know that, for you once confessed, "Just let the winter have his fling, For after winter comes the spring." I wish God could have given you, A little time, a month or two. Cruel February took your breath. I lost both spring and you to death. This is the third spring since that date, And winter I have ceased to hate.
