Precious wildflower, kissed by heaven,
in moonlit splendor, softly dressed,

hear the plaintive voice of he,
who loves you truer than the rest,

don’t turn your face to brighter light,
than offered in this timeless place,

be kind to one who worships you,
no other bloom can match your grace,

or smile, so rare and humbly wished,
with reason, ardor does replace,

reach with with leafy arms, invite,
this beau to bed of green delight,

enfold, embrace, with perfect stem,
love divinely shared tonight

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
