Today I took a bold step I stood naked Without a mirror And as I looked all around At the piles of pride That had been woven by the scornful wind Lying all around in selfish piles I thought how strange not to see your own reflection There is no self judgment, no doubt no pain Today I stepped into the Arena A poem is a Naked Person. This poem has a lot of hidden meaning, I can see it...yet I can't...very thought-provoking, Jon! Oh, I haven't welcomed you to the Pub yet, have I? Well, welcome to the Pub! Little Spyro T. Dragon |

Very interesting poem. To look into a mirror and not see self judgment would indeed make you wonder who it is that you see there. Good poem. |

I get it, I think. A poem represents you and all your feelings. Putting it out for all the world to see is quite revealing of yourself. To do it without feeling you might be ridiculed is a very freeing experience. You're doing it well, Jon. ~Gene |

excellent. i've often said that i would rather have naked photos of myself distributed than let people read my poetry. being able to show ones poetry, can be one of the most terrifying feelings. "There is no self judgment, no doubt no pain" i hope to reach that point someday. this poem is so excellent that i really should be quiet. it speaks for itself. |
