And if this is not too presumptuous to be;
Inscribe "The world's better because of me."

Wow Joyce, i have had to help choose the words for someone else's stone, but i have never given a thought to what someone might choose for me, nor what i would choose myself if the sutituation were such.
Judging by the love with which you write for those that have shared your life, i'm sure you have made the world around you a better place. And that is no small feat.

Of epitaphs and eulogies I am at a loss to comment.
I must say though, that yours is true.

And if I were to write my own,
I'd have to say this:

"May God have mercy on his soul."

Amen.
