“Hail”

black clouds glide the sky
dark armies of invasion
ravagers of light

resistance is brief
pelting precipitation
bright day is subdued

Great haiku! I really could envision the happenings within the poem. I enjoyed this greatly!

there seems to be a hailstorm of Haiku's around here.  Well done.  I like the image of the storms "attacking."

Beautifully written Haiku...so real, now how to get these hail stones off my keyboard?  Ellie

Such storms can rage in the human mind, also.
Thanks, Red_Feather.

Any feller that can quote from the famous I.G. Norance is a friend of mine . Well done

Coyote, you even brought across the sound, and feeling of impending doom...that "helpless" feeling...

A successful haiku couplet, indeed!

I like the way that you describe the black clouds as "Armies of invasion" This is an amazing metaphor, keep up the good work and you'll make plenty of people happy and inspire thousands!!
