Gray bones imprints the near sky. Tyrannosaurs Rex stalks the horizon; roars in despair, and red eyes the rising sun. Winding sheets of metal are riveted over steel framework; a city skyscraper ascends. Wordancer, the one who dances with words. [This message has been edited by wordancer (edited 04-10-2001).] |

The dinosaurs were here for about 250 million years. Rex was the ultimate, meat eating, killing machine. Our killing machine is technology. I like the comparison, "dances with words". Thanks, very much. "I hate quotes, they suck!" |

I like the 'red eyes the rising sun" piece... Nice. I kept going back to the first 2 lines though - should it not either be "Gray bone / imprints the near sky." or "Gray bones / imprint the near sky."? The two plurals there were a little hard to get past.. Bless your cotten sockies, you poetic maniacs. ^_^ |
