TimeWar Prelude: the sky is dark wisps of almost fog swirl bitter cold on an endless mirrored surface. Screams and cries for mercy float up from the abyss a bolt of light crashes through the gray of neither day or night illuminates hopeful faces; reaching, grasping for the promise of light... the world is spinning time is ticking away past getting bigger and bigger tomorrow shrinks day by day watch the hands moving tick, tick...dreaded tock today taken prisoner captured by killer clock Hours all in uniform time on guard, row by row folks fighting to move upstream tire and taken away by eternal flow forlorn “guests” of relentless time locked in a minutes cage guards brutal, prisoners of war youths disregard, changed by age. “What you going to do when time ticks over you? Choose: meek, hopeless prisoner...convict or warrior every morning, fresh and new. Question their damned authority blow up some clocks, down with time!” Another gray face calling from the abyss... blood freezing with terror; realizing it is mine. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "Gruesome, chilling, graphic"is Wendy Woo's review... the artist once upon... |
