My poet's voice
has been quiet
for too long
Waiting for life
in an emotive cell
I hum solitude
though it lacks
the love to be song

"Waiting for life
in an emotive cell"

These are good words to start with.

Welcome to the Pub.  This is a very nice first post!  I am looking forward to more.   May you find the love to break into song.

You voice your thoughts well, it take a real knack to put across emotions in the few words as you have done here.

Welcome and I can't wait to read more of your words.

Your poetic voice is beautifully sung here, continue to sing to us, please...Ellie
