The Crocus poke their heads
Through the freshly fallen snow
Not worried by what they see
For it’s their time to grow!

Early in the springtime
These resilient plants arrive
In their providential timing
They know they will survive!

Their Maker made them leaders
In the flora resurrection
So to see first signs of Spring
Look in the Crocus section!

Their being the first makes them one of my favorite flowers.

How I am getting Spring fever really bad. I was so disappointed to see the snow yesterday. That much longer til I can get my flower garden going.
