I moved a brown leaf
out in the garden today
and there I found Spring
the green shoot of a crocus
and my heart blossomed with hope

Lovely! I absolutely love the Tanka format.

I love Spring. And it's getting here. This week has been in the 40's. Ah. Nice. Please no more snow. This poem makes me want Spring even more.
