" Leave your belongings at the gate!" spoke the voice of certain fate and not knowing quite the cost I found my INNOCENCE I had lost " Here's some DOUBT and WORRY too!" the spoke in smoke and cursing blue and settled in the rowing boat I found that I had lost my HOPE " Here's your ANGRY face of RAGE!" a frowning call from center stage and donning now the fearsome mask I 'd lost my KINDNESS to the task " Leave your belongings at the gate!" I called to one though the hour late " For I am POWER high above!" and then I knew, I'd lost my LOVE "NO!" I heard "COME TO ME!" said the child I could see I did, she broke the CHAINS from me, she spoke the TRUTH and it set me free. ~Which way did They go? How many of Them were there? I MUST find Them!! I AM THEIR LEADER!!~ Author Unknown..well at least to me..:) |
