In the dark hours late at night we sit quiet without the lights through the words a burden shared unheard cries of sorrow there a wave comes crashing over me your heart a boat on stormy sea anger pain regret shame you struggle often for just your name and can it be that then as now tis meant for this to be somehow that in the dark hours late at night we quiet sit without the lights and asking questions brave and bold we find answers for our souls souls same color done in crayon for childish we in that same Hand that chose to use that same sad hue that colors souls of me and you now some would mock and call us mad steeping in the sorrow sad but we know the strength in pain the body's loss the spirit's gain so in the dark hours late at night I think we both have found some light and smiling through the tears we know we match in colors of our souls ~Which way did They go? How many of Them were there? I MUST find Them!! I AM THEIR LEADER!!~ Author Unknown..well at least to me..:) |

I just love this! Well done! I have read it several times and love the way the words sound and the rhythm in each line. There is so much depth to this poem. Thank-you for sharing! |

There you go again Sol...getting me all emotional *sniff* . As I, who dwell in the dark hours quite a bit, do know, having a friend in this time is a great thing indeed. Thanks for the wise words, Sol. ~~Jamie I mean the opposite of what I say. You've got it now? No, it's the other way. ~Bruce Bennett |

Yes, the dark hours can be an important time for sharing. Nice one again, Sol. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
