Passive Valley Sunset
by Joy

Passive valley sunset
Doesn’t care who points
Or stares
Passive desert sun sinks
Behind the cactus sand
The car rolls on through Santa Fe
My head rests on the gray upholstry
I stare as nature’s end of day moment melts away
Passive valley sunset makes me feel all right
It doesn’t even know my name
Or how I’ll remember its beauty
As I get rocked to sleep by the bumpy road tonight

Our doubts are traitors,
And make us loose the good we oft might win
By fearing to attempt.
~Shakespeare

Wish I knew how to use imagery as well as you do. Great job here.
