I have often dreamed
of a far off place
where my hopes and beliefs
would suddenly come true.

where my heart would fly,
and I'd never have to cry,
and in this place
my dreams would sail by

Somehow I'll find my way,
to this place of dreams,
It doesn't matter how far,
I know somehow I must try.

I know every trial
will be worth my while
I would do most anything
to find where my dreams belong.

**got some ideas from a movie, so i give disney credit for whatever they wish. sorry if it's unclear, i haven't written in while.

Well, that place sounds like Paradise to me. Don't think we'll ever experience it this side of eternity. Our trials do strengthen us, though, making us better able to deal with whatever comes our way. Good poem! I enjoyed this!

dreamers are very special people..they tend to be more sensitive..poets are dreamers, God bless em'....well done.

John Steinbeck once wrote, "We spend our time searching for security, and when we find it, we hate it." I think often we don't appreciate the paradise we have in just living. Make your own happiness. Oh, and I hate to sound over zealous but if I had to name the place you just described, I would call it... Heaven?
